Woman statue (Leila day 2)

At the Tate museum I saw a sculpture of this woman standing on her toes. I really liked the sculpture because the woman was very curvy and not your “traditional model”. Her pose was very much like a model but I loved that she was different than the typical model. I found this very interesting and it made me very curious about what “beauty” is around the world and throughout history. I think it is something that is very interesting to learn about especially now the way American society can be very damaging to women. I want to do a project on beauty around the world and through history.
