today i went with my small group to the victoria and albert museum. in the museum, i found an incredible exhibit about british national identity. i stayed in this exhibit for the majority of our time, as i wanted to read and absorb everything i possibly could. i was thinking so much about all of the ideas that had come from the museum visit that i forgot we were going to see death of england, so i had no expectations. the one man show was so moving, articulate, and symbolic. the way the sole actor of this show alternated between different characters and made them all so distinct was inspiring. this made me want to learn more about and possibly write my own monologue. it also made me realize that any creative vision is a possibility, no matter how unformed it may at first seem.
