I knew people hated Brexit, but this surprised me.
“How do you feel about Brexit?”
“It was a terrible mistake.”
“The people were lied to.”
“We’ve become weak.”
“The economy will crash.”
“The government lied to me.”
“I don’t know if I can keep living in Spain.”
“It’s not a maybe, it’s a fact - the people were lied to.”
“We’re much weaker now, now that we’re linked to America.”
“It’s wrong.”
“I think it - it was a disaster. We’re just setting everything back by - centuries.”
But just like the the old couple told me in response: “it’s too late to fix now.”
