Red Seats Red Cheeks It’s winter in London And time for a play The pieces are set The people all present The chatter is inane But we still remain It’s time for a play Heady excitement fills the air Everyone’s all there When will it begin Up and down we go In our red velvet rows ‘Excuse me’ and ‘Sorry’ Ring out from below Everyone is looking for their place And shoving their way into the space The lights dim The phones dim The people don’t Seats creak as people shuffle Seems like everythings been muffled It’s begun Comments are closed.
