Anna Kitts’ First 100 Words2/10/2020 Before the meetings, I knew nothing about Brexit: I didn’t even know what it meant. I was blown away by the hatred between Northern Ireland, Ireland, and London. In Mr. Mathis presentation, he made it clear that Ireland’s original divide happened because different religious views. Through out excursion, I am excited to see how plays and art show England’s views on Ireland like Kathleen Houlihan, a character used to describe Ireland. Mr. Sawyer referred to Brexit as the canary in the coal mine, and I cannot wait to see if this is evident in England and Ireland.
