I voted for Bella this week because she did a decent job explaining what a memoir actually is by making connections with what we have read so far for class. Moreover, she added some valuable and interesting personal opinions about how Wollstonecraft's personal impression and experience about different cities formed her unique assessment and values of those particular places in her adventurous life. The addition of Bella's personal argument really made her post more engaging and fascinating both to read and to think about.

I voted for Bella and Yufei. From Bella's blog post, I can clearly see what she wants to express in her memoir. She has a very detailed outline of her project. From Yufei's blog post, I like the way he analyses the reading from our class.

I voted for George's blog post this week because his blog was multimodal including video, links to other websites, photos, and so on. I believe that as the blog posts go on, we often forget to add some links and photos in order to make our post more diverse. However, George's post perfectly proved that he was working hard and contributed a lot in his website.

I vote for George this week. Not only he uses multimedia that is quite attracting, but also has a thorough understanding about how the relationship of place, space and the self fit into all these articles.

I vote for George this week, because his blog post is very well organized, including a lot of photos, links and video. He also did a good job on explaining his plan on memoir and how he response to Wellstonecraft, Thoreau and Afridi. First he inserted a video explaining what is a memoir, and then he connect his memoir with others in separate paragraphs. This makes the blog interesting and comfortable to read.

I voted for George this week because I think he analyses our memoir very well, both the readings in class and the articles he find online. In addition, he put many other elements in the writing as well, such as videos, photos etc. I like his format of writing, which makes his construction of ideas really clear.

I liked Weiwei's translation of the piece 'Missing Peking' the best, maybe partially because I am from there as well. This piece is included in my high school Chinese text book, so it evokes not only my homesickness but also a nostalgic feeling about high school memories.
